Like her predecessors, Alfa Romea III, in every respect is at the cutting edge of yacht design, engineering and construction. A reichel, Pugh design, built by McConaghy Boats, the 69 footer follows a similar design to the same sized mini-maxi, Bella Mente.
She will sport a complete rig package from Southern Spars, with a high modulus carbon fibre mast which will stand 31.5m above the deck of the 21.4m hull, a full set of EC6+ continuous carbon rigging. With sweptback spreaders, no runners are required.

Playstation was the fastest sailing boat of her time; she held multiple trans-Atlantic records in 2001 and 2002, and the non-stop circumnavigation record back in 2004.  She was a speed machine way ahead of her time with Southern Spars spectra, Kevlar, carbon fibre laminate spars offering the capability to carry more sail in the heavier breezes.

STP65 Container has been launched in Kiel, Germany. The new modern racing machine has a custom built Southern Spars rig and a complete set of EC6+ continuous carbon rigging with internal tags.  Container has a lightweight soft vang system, and like IRC66’ Numbers has its chain plate turnbuckles below deck to create a streamlined rigging structure. Container is the third boat of this class.

The two new yachts for the 2008/09 event were exclusively designed for Ericsson Racing Team by Argentinian Juan Kouymodjian. The innovative canting keels are instrumental to the performance of the new Volvo Open 70. Ericsson Racing Team 2008/09 went with the 31.5m Southern spars mast towering 103.3ft above the water and continuous EC6 carbon rigging. Ericsson 3 finished fourth overall and Ericsson 4 stood victorious in the 2008/2009 Volvo ocean race.

Esimit Europe (formerly Alfa Romeo) was the first yacht ever to take European sailing's grand slam with wins in the Rolex Giraglia Race, the Rolex Fastnet Race, the Rolex Maxi Cup and the Rolex Middle Sea Race, as well as the Sydney Hobart, all within 12 months.

In 2006 Alfa Romeo took line honours in the Giraglia Rolex Cup Offshore Race and the Rolex Middle Sea Race.

Lago is a sophisticated cruising catamaran that takes full advantage of the form – in both space utilisation and sailing performance. To extract full performance potential, considerable design effort went into keeping the structure light, but extremely strong. Singularity was launched in early 2010, this light weight canting keel sailboat is a modern lightweight boat that is both competitive on the racecourse and also a comfortable cruiser when required. Wild Oats X has undergone some extensive modifications this year including a new Southern Spars mast and rigging package. The 66 footer has upgraded to a new high modulus carbon rig, a hybrid of HR40 and M46J carbon types, which stands at 30.2m tall. The new mast also features swept spreaders and EC6+ continuous rigging with internal tangs.
