Launched in early 2008, Mondango is the third in a line of hull sisters that includes Kokomo and Red Dragon. She is a 51.7m (170’) ketch designed by Dubois Naval Architects.
Her carbon fibre spars and rigging are made by Southern Spars with her main mast extending 62.55m into the sky and her mizzen mast standing 49m tall giving her the opportunity to carry up to 2,488m² downwind and up to 1,398m² upwind.
In 2008 Mondango won the ISS Award for the best sailing yacht in the 40+ category and was the winner of the Showboats award.
