Auckland Facilities

Southern's factories in Auckland’s marine area, Westhaven, cover 5,625m² and enjoy close 
proximity to the Viaduct Basin for stepping. The Ben Lomond factory covers a further 
3,220m². 

Facilities include a number of autoclaves, the largest being 50 metres in length, 
and paint booths up to 70 metres long. Specialist machinery includes a CNC plotter 
cutter and spreader jig and both female and male moulding is used depending on the project. 
The longest mast to date is 63.4m and we have the ability to produce longer still.

Commitments to various competing racing syndicates dictate that we operate 
under a stringent set of security measures, confidentiality is enforced and access to 
our facilities is restricted.
