AMERICA’S CUP CLASS 

Southern Spars has a great, albeit recent, history with the America’s Cup. Since our involvement began in 1992 we have supplied 14 syndicates including 1995 and 2000 winner Team New Zealand. In 2007 we are supplying another 4 teams in their challenge for the Louis Vuitton Cup and ultimately the Auld Mug.

We create exceptional custom rigs to the syndicate’s specifications, within the ACC regulations. 

America’s Cup History 

The America’s Cup was named after the schooner America, who won it from the English in 1851. Considered the oldest international sporting trophy, it was contested nine times before the modern Olympic Games were held.
