Next week I will be heading south in the Rig
Pro truck and trailer. While that drive is a bit tedious, the reward of
warm weather and hanging out with our customers is well worth it. This
year will be even more interesting as we add the J 70 to our list of
one-designs that Southern supplies. There will be over 40 of these new
speedsters!
We will once again be parked at the Westin Marina, also know as the
Truman Annex. This provides quick access to the boats in the marina and
is also just blocks from the official regatta tent. It also provides for
nice sunsets!
The trailer will be stocked with cordage from all of the best suppliers: Marlow, Maffioli, Samson, Yale, NER and Hampidjan.
Specifically we will have Super Swift, Dynex DUX, Endurabraid, D2
Racing, Amsteel, PBO, Kevlar, Technora covered rope. We also have small
Dyneema for lashing in 1.1mm,1.4mm, 1.7mm, 1.75, 2.5mm, 3mm and
4mm.
I wish that we could bring it all!!
In the hardware department, we will have parts from Harken, Lewmar,
Pro-Tec tapes, Ronstan, Wichard, Spinlock and Equiplite. We will also
have class specific parts for the Farr 40s, Swan 42s, M32s and J 70
classes. .
